2009 Legislative Session

Our legislative staff was be busy this year over at the State Capitol with many issues including Senate Bill 143, House Bills 915 and 923. Senate Bill 143 would have required licensed grain dealers to document the basis involved in any sale of grain. House Bills 915 and 923 would have increased the surety bond required by the Department of Agriculture for licensed grain dealers with one or multiple licenses. These bills did not pass both houses of the Missouri legislature by the end of the legislative session.
