Environmental responsibility is the main motivator for the dealers who participate in the MO-AG Clean Pesticide Container Recycling Program each year. This program has been recognized as the only crop protectant container collection program in the state.
MO-AG coordinates this volunteer effort for Missouri agrichemical dealers and growers. If you have participated in the program before, we trust you will again join the recycling effort. Please give this program serious consideration if you have not participated in the past. Why participate? This nationally known program has a positive impact on all Missourians by providing a cleaner environment, increased longevity of landfills and continued accessibility of agrichemicals.

The MO-AG Clean Pesticide Container Recycling Program is made possible by the volunteer efforts and monetary contributions of chemical manufacturers, Agricultural Chemical Research Council (ACRC), MFA Incorporated, Mark TApril 8, 2010C and agrichemical facilities statewide.
Goals of the program:
- Educate dealers and growers about the proper method for cleaning pesticide containers as required by law.
- Provide an environmentally sound method for disposal of used, clean containers.
- Provide economic advantages to users by extending their accessibility to crop protectants and avoiding waste of expensive products.
- Provide a way to avoid mandated recycling programs.
- Protect surface and groundwater and the general environment.
- Contribute to a more attractive rural landscape.
- Provide a concrete way for dealers and growers to show they are actively working to safeguard the environment.
